Fate Hagood III grew up in Compton California with all the joys and challenges that came with it. He was raised on a steady diet of funk music, superhero comics,  kung fu movies, fantasy novels,  and lots of church! These experiences molded him into the writer he is today. Fate lives in Compton with his wife Mira, the love of his life
